UTTIPEC Processing

 

The project was discussed in the 61st  UTTIPEC Governing Body (G.B.) meeting  held on 24.12.2020 under the Chairmanship of the Hon’ble L.G. of Delhi. The observations & decisions of Governing Body meeting are as follows:

Observations

i) NCRTC was asked to incorporate necessary provisions in the proposal to take care of the future increase in the traffic load on the roads/linkages due to the proposed development of HPL site at jangpura on TOD norms, so that retro-fitting at a later stage is avoided

ii) Traffic Police mentioned that there is a possibility of creation of a bottleneck on Mathura Road at a junction near Hotel Rajdoot due to this proposal.NCRTC submitted that there is a PWD proposal of improvement of Mathura Road corridor

Decision 

Based on the above observation, the proposal was approved with the condition to incorporate the provisions for adequate space for safe movement of pedestrian/addressing the issue of walk ability on this stretch

NCRTC vide letter dt.03.03.2022,intimated the office of UTTIPEC about the modifications in the approved plan which shall be included in the influence zone plan of the TOD Node of jangapura RRTS station being prepared by NCRTC. The matter was discussed in the 65th Governing Body meeting of UTTIPEC held on 26.04.2022 and following were the decisions :

The matter was recorded and NCRTC to include the proposal in the influence zone plan of the TOD node of jangpura RRTS station
